Aina Grace U. Sobremonte – General Virtual Assistant

Hello, my name is Aina Grace U. Sobremonte, you can call me Aina. I am 29 years of age, single and still living with my parents. I took up Bachelor of Science in Psychology major in Clinical Psychology when I was in college.

I used to work in BPO for over 3 years and have decided to transition working at home. I started working as a freelancer since April of 2023, and now here I am. Working from home allows me to focus on my productivity while also enjoying my life outside of work. I can help my family with our family business and spend time with them while working for my client.

When I was working in Legal Support Help, I gained knowledge and experience when it comes to lead generation, admin task, handling social media platforms and so on. My first client was at Sky Law Firm where I worked as a Legal Assistant and was part of the Litigation Team. My job was to manage attorney’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointment for opposing counsel and plaintiffs. I also organise and respond to emails, filtering incoming messages and manage correspondence.

Aside from that, I also worked as a Social Media Coordinator at Outsourced Manpower, and my job was to create monthly and weekly contents, do a content calendar planning, and also do community outreach. I manage Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn platforms for my clients.

My ultimate goal is to assist my clients with their daily tasks while also prioritising their families, all while learning from them. I also wanted to have a long-term relationship with my clients and meet them just like other VA’s, I find it more fulfilling and success to anyone.

Outside work, I am also part of the Karate organisation here in the Philippines which is Kyokushin Kenbukai and got my 1st dan this year after 20 years of hard work and dedication. I also teach kids and parents if I have free time.

Also, I love watching series, one of my favorite thing to watch is Twilight. The good-looking characters, Edward and Bella, the love plot, and the story.

Right now, I am in a new field of determination to be a successful VA someday even though I made a mistake in my past, I believe failure is not the end for me or for anyone else but a powerful reminder that things can go towards your success if you keep on doing what you love.
