Alejandro Jose Argueta Garay – Accounts Payable and Sales Specialist

Hi, my name is Alejandro Argueta. I am 34 years old with a lot of experience in the accounting area. Since 2009, I have been a part of the collections agents for workers compensation in California. I then became a Collections Manager where I was in charge of leading a group of 20 people. I was in charge of all accounts receivable duties, sending updated invoices, taking payments, making agreements and settlement agreements, posting payments and updating the billing ledger.

After that, I became an Accounts Receivable Manager for a logistics company. I was leading a team of 3 people and they helped me out in collecting all the outstanding balances. I was also in charge of the collection for the VIP clients, qualifying customers for credit approval with different software.

I am also an accounts payable specialist and I can use different ERP software. I know all the processes as well, including processing invoices for payment, re conciliating accounts, posting payments, improving process inside of the department.

I live in El Salvador Central America, which is really close to Costa Rica and Panama. We do have beautiful beaches and we are in the top 10 best waves in the world list. (I mention that because I love surfing with my daughters) 🙂

I am Project Manager Certified and I am currently studying a CCNA certification (a Cisco Software and Hardware Certification). It’s a little bit different from my finance experience, but I love technology as well, which is why I took the opportunity to study again.

I have a degree in marketing and advertising, and also have experience handling social media networks including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
