Angelica Barlam – Transcriptionist

Hello, I’m Angelica.

Since the age of 4, I had already faced a lot of difficulties in life. I started selling steamed bananas to provide food for my family. This is where I learned the importance of money and how to manage it.

I inherited a small tobacco business that I successfully managed. The business helped me to provide for my needs in school and everyday needs. I have been providing for my daily needs in school for 6 years now. I’m a graduating Senior High School student and would like to pursue a degree in Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.

At the age of 17, I found my first online job. I worked as a transcriber and presentation designer for my clients for almost a year. These positions helped me pay for my school bills since I’m not depending on my parents anymore. I have learned how to make good decisions, be responsible, and it has enhanced my analytical skills.

I may not have the experience of other freelancers in this industry but I do believe that experience doesn’t define a person’s dedication towards their work. Experience can be learned along the way and the person’s dedication and passion can lead them towards their dreams. I do have the dedication and passion to give my clients the best performance that I can give and help your company grow.

I chose freelancing since it can help me cope with my schedule in school while helping my clients grow their business. My goal as a freelancer is to provide satisfaction to my clients and earn enough money to support my studies.

Learning how to stand on my own two feet at a young has taught me that nothing can really beat hard work and dedication.
