Anna Marie Bartolome – Virtual Assistant

Hi, my name is Anna Marie Bartolome, but my friends call me Anna or Nana. I recently got married in July 2024 and welcomed my first child, a son, in May 2025. This new chapter in my life has been a wonderful experience, and I cherish every moment with my family. I am grateful that my husband works from home, allowing us to spend quality time together.

I was raised in Iligan City and graduated with a degree in BS HRM. After college, I moved to Cebu and started my career as a barista. Living independently on a minimum wage was challenging, so I applied to a BPO company and was accepted at Convergys. I worked there as a sales and technical assistant for over two years, gaining valuable knowledge in advanced troubleshooting. I often provided technical assistance to friends and our church, and many assumed I had a degree in IT.

After my time at Convergys, I sought a day shift job and joined Telstra, where I thrived and enjoyed my work. However, my mother requested that I return home. Thankfully, I found a local job as an assistant manager at Jollibee. I loved my role and wished to learn more about the business, but the pandemic prompted me to seek online opportunities to protect my family. This led me to Rollo, where I interviewed with the CEO and started the next day. I enjoyed working there, especially since it was a technical account that allowed me to utilise my previous experience.

After two years at Rollo, I got married and later became a mother. As my pregnancy progressed, I faced challenges that led me to pause my work. Now that my child is eight months old and with the help of a caregiver, I am excited to return to work. I am ready to showcase my skills, knowledge, and expertise to contribute value to a new company.
