Carla Beljaars – Administrative Assistant

For 32 years I lived in Canberra and recently had a sea change moving to sunny Bribie Island in Queensland to be closer to my family. I have always had a passion to run my own business working as a Virtual Assistant, now that I have made the sea change, I have the opportunity.

Being a Virtual Assistant allows me the freedom to work around my lifestyle. I have 4 adult children, 2 grandchildren and 2 fur babies. My passions are photography and researching Australian History. I am also a qualified Natural Therapists in Reiki and Relaxation Massage.

For 10 years I was a member of the Canberra Scouting movement. Through Scouting I obtained a Certificate IV in Business Frontline Management. I was a Cub Scout Leader for 7 years and a Leader of Leaders for 3 years advising and supporting leaders that had children with special needs.

I have over 31 years’ experience in both government and private sectors providing executive and administrative support, contracting as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager and general office support.

I have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to effectively follow procedures. I am proactive, able to deliver under pressure, and can manage my time effectively to work to tight deadlines.

  • Email monitoring/management
  • Diary management (manage conflicts/competing deadlines)
  • Arranging domestic and international travel (flights, accommodation, car hire and venue hire)
  • Record keeping/filing
  • Stock purchasing
  • Process monthly invoices and forward to clients for payment
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Tracking incoming and outgoing expenses

As your Virtual Assistant I will work hard to support you in every way, I can do the tasks you don’t have time to do and the “I don’t want to do list”.
