Cheryl Tamayo – Human Resource Associate

Cheryl Tamayo is a proficient Human Resource Associate with almost 6 years of experience in the Industrial Setting handling almost 600 employees. Cheryl always ensures to deliver quality manpower and service to the company.

She’s so efficient at her job that she considers herself a “devoted employee”. Cheryl has the ability to efficiently conduct interviews each day and schedules qualified applicants for face-to-face interviews. She manages and processes them from applicant to onboarding – such as conducting orientations, assists in contract signing, organising 201 files, and is even involved in employee relations. Because of her skills, Cheryl can foster productive and good relationships with the employees.

She is adept at finding ways to streamline routine processes, thereby allowing more time to perform her daily tasks.

More than her role as Human Resource Associate, she had gained holistic knowledge on the company’s business that afforded her a well all-round skillset. From oral and written communication, and computer skills, to effective decision-making, problem-solving and discipline.

In addition to her experience and personal qualities, she also developed an effective personal relationship skill and has the ability to influence individuals.

Cheryl earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Psychology back in 2014. Through her course, she established a passionate interest in dealing with different kinds of individuals. She respects the diversity of every group and she loves helping people.

About her background, she was the youngest of 9 siblings and poverty has been her motivation in enduring all the challenges she faced during her college years. Looking always on the bright side of the situation and keeping her feet on the ground. She believes that everything can be learnt if you have the interest, dedication and commitment. Cheryl considers herself as an achiever in her academics, making her parents proud is one of her guiding motivation in graduating with awards. Being a scholar in her college years in one of the excellent state universities in Mindanao helped her a lot, especially financially.

Now, being a wife, she aims to balance her work and family time. She wants to break that cliché that housewives are just stuck at home. By being involved in virtual jobs where you can learn, have flexible work time and earn is the best decision that is now offered. She is also a woman who loves to travel. Indeed, this platform suited her lifestyle and can make her a successful individual.

She is a newbie to virtual jobs, but try her capability and you will not regret it. There’s no harm in trying 😊
