Denise Cruz – Customer Service Representative, Sales

Hi, my name is Denise Archelo Gallardo – Cruz but you can call me Denise.

I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Marketing Management in St. Scholastica’s College and I have been in the BPO industry for more than 10 Years.

I am a single mom of 3 and I have been supporting them all by myself for 15 Years. It was a struggle to do it on my own but I am surviving. This is also what makes me a tough woman — no matter what life has for me, I have to be strong in order to give my children the kind of life they deserve. It doesn’t have to be flashy. All I need is a dignified and simple life that I can face anyone with my head held up.

Career — this job in the BPO industry is no joke at all. It takes a lot of patience, perseverance and dedication in order for you to succeed in this field. I even asked myself several times if this is the industry I want to be at and grow old with because I have to learn how to balance everything between personal life and career but so far I think I am enjoying it.

I handled customer service and sales from different companies and it is a very fruitful and learning experience for me. This is the industry that helped my family financially in order to get by and survive life. I learned a lot of things through the high standard trainings I got from the companies and I was able to apply them at work. I was able to talk to different people on all walks of life because I handled B2B and consumer platforms and I make sure that I have my best foot forward when I’m at work.

I can say that I am a dedicated person – I make sure that I do my best in everything I do, not to satisfy anyone else but myself because when I am satisfied with the fruits of my labor, guaranteed my customer will also be. I can say that at first I have the tendency to be “by the book” but I learned to be dynamic – I learned to think out of the box if I want to improve my skills.

I want to join the company because I want to find myself – my purpose. I want to freely do what I want at work. I don’t mind people telling me what I need to do or to be supervised at first but moving forward, I have to be able to do it on my own and this time with minimal supervision because I believe I still need it.

This will be a great opportunity for me to explore the possibilities and enjoy working for a company that provides that to their employees. Respect and Professionalism is instilled with the superiors.

I am new to this Virtual Assistant position but I am willing to learn. I wanted something that I can do at home now that we are dealing with a global pandemic and I am excited to join the team who can push me to be good in what I do. I think I will be a good addition to the team. I may not be the best asset but I believe I can shine brightly like a diamond.
