Eunice Alcantara – Customer Service Representative, Real Estate

eunice-alcantara-vaHi! My name is Eunice. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. I was a working student during my college years and I never stopped working since then to support my family and myself who’s living independently in Metro Manila.

I started my career in the BPO Industry as a Customer Service Representative for over nine years. I’ve handled an Auto Financing Account, Technical Account, and Health Care Insurance account.

Living alone in the city has never been so easy for me. I get to spend my holidays in the office since I worked on graveyard shifts for BPO Companies. I got used to it which made me grow independently and made me the person I am today. When I got married in 2017, that was when I decided to go home and work home-based. I then worked with Property Management for over a year and became a virtual assistant for a Real Estate Company for 4 years now.

Leaving the corporate world didn’t guarantee happy-ever-after. Scenarios took me by surprise such as unpredictable, distractions, and disappearing clients. But here I am today a little wiser, whether part-time or full-time. It’s how I’m able to stay motivated, flexible with my workday, and have a work-life balance on my own terms. It keeps me going without feeling trapped by a dull routine and boredom. Being a VA demands that I think outside the box, and I’m continually inspired by what my clients are doing with their passion. It’s cool to be a part of that, to support them in ways that make a difference.

I have an exceptional drive and determination to succeed and I take feedback positively.
