I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and have worked with different companies here in the Philippines.
Like many others, I usually spend my free time playing with my kids, taking memorable pictures with them and uploading them on social media.
Starting my journey in the corporate world was quite promising. I got hired as a Data Encoder at an American company based in Manila and was assigned in mortgage consolidating and other bank transactions.
I used to often shift careers because I love dealing with people. I have experienced working in customer relations with a fast food company for 9 years. This is where I honed my skills in communication and public speaking. It also helped me improve my ability in problem solving, especially with irate customers.
I also experienced being a store manager where I learned how to handle people and crew members at the same time. I was assigned to train them and let them execute their jobs well with continuous support and guidance. I’ve handled different tasks with the highest level of training provided by the company as well.
My enthusiasm in dealing with clients or customers gave me the strength to pursue my dream to become a customer service representative for both voice and non-voice projects. As a CSR, I managed to maintain my negative response rate at 0 level all throughout my tenure. Achievement after failure inspired me to continuously strive for better results.
My first Virtual Assistant job was with an Australian e-Commerce business where I served as a direct message consultant through Instragram and other social media platforms. It was a short term campaign but it opened up my eyes to the real power of social media.
After that, I continued looking for career advancements and managed to find a good company where I could my pursue dreams of becoming one of their Virtual Assistants.
As what the company believes in, I agree that the most important attribute of a VA is Reliability. It is true that a VA may have a great attitude, the required talent or skills, as well as years of experience, but if their circumstances don’t allow them to be online or available when needed, the other 3 attributes are wasted.
Google, Youtube, and forums are literally my best friends. Through self-study and free online training, I managed to acquire basic skills in Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Shopify, Oberloo, Ebay, Amazon, Quickbooks, email marketing, Facebook advertising and a lot more.
Action speaks louder than words and I am here to extend my helping hands to your company with the best of my ability. I may not be as experienced as most VAs, but I enjoy learning new things and can assimilate new ideas quickly. I have outstanding organisational and time management skills, and also have the ability to multitask on multiple projects.
I am a capable, determined, confident and well-organised administrative assistant and Customer Service Representative. I am also a highly approachable individual with a pleasant attitude and willingness to make a positive mark. I am keen to learn more about new technologies and specific tools required by the job.
