Overview
Hafidah Buale – Graphic Designer
Hello! My name is Hafidah Buale, you can call me Happi, for short. I am the eldest daughter in our family of four. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Mindanao States University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), and I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Sociology still in MSU-IIT.
I grew up in a hardworking family, my parents dedicating their lives as office employees. But my parents’ dedication to their work cost them both their health and time with us, their children. Witnessing their struggles with their health issues and the fast-paced world of technology inspired me to become “Happi the Helper”. I assisted them with their paperworks and administrative tasks, which ignited inside me the passion to help others.
Despite my parents having a stable income, my parents faced challenges affording medication and health care, which can be quite expensive here in the Philippines. To ease their financial burden, I decided to take the reins of my educational pursuits and worked part-time as an ESL Teacher. I supported my education while also aiding my sister’s financial burden with her academic pursuits as well. Graduating with Latin Honors was a bittersweet experience, as I lost my father a month before my graduation. His passing was a reality check of how short and fragile life is. His death took a toll on us, urging me to step up for my family.
With my mother as our only living parent, now struggling with her health which forced her to resign from her duties. In an effort to provide for my family, I dedicated myself to working from home. Balancing my role as an ESL Teacher and supporting students as an Academic Freelancer. This journey also allowed me to explore my creative side, leading me to become a Graphic Designer.
My story as “Happi the Helper” hasn’t ended; I have decided to transition away from being an ESL Teacher to focus on providing comprehensive administrative support like I once did with my parents. My mission is to help clients to be able to regain the balance in their lives, reconnect with their loved ones and enhance their overall well-being.
Life is short, and we should cherish our time. I’m here to assist you in achieving your goals, both personally and professionally. Let’s work together—I’m Happi, your ally and future Executive Virtual Assistant, ready to help you succeed!
