Jennylyn Del Mundo – Accounting Analyst
I’m a Certified Bookkeeper with more than 7 years of experience in Accounting and Finance. I have work experience in a multi-national company that deals with different nationalities (Asian, European & American).
I’ve been commended as excellent in reporting and reconciliation. I have lead business process improvement of the company and was awarded as being hard-working and achieving excellence in work.
I have experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting with the accounting systems like Sage, SAP, Quickbooks, Navision, and Oracle.
Some of my accomplishments are:
- Reduced AR due by 80%.
- Reconciled AR to match client’s record.
- Reconciled general ledger accounts on or before deadlines.
- Provide recommendations on the improvement of the process to less risk and implement more accurate reports and lesser time to complete the task.
- Part of the migration process.
- Provide feedback on the new system on how to meet the business requirements.
- Create a report template to show the accuracy of the report.
I always keep on learning and if there would be an improvement in the process, I will make sure to share it for the business growth.
About myself – I love going to new places and trying out new food. I love knowing about the culture of the locals. I’ve been to many places like Boracay, Palawan, Bohol, Mindoro, Western Visayas, Tawi-Tawi, and Davao to name a few.
When we travel, we do not usually have any itinerary or reserved accommodation. I like to challenge myself on how to communicate and ask people around to get the best accommodation for us. We travel without tour guides because, for us, it would be more memorable if we will do it on our own.
I love going out on an adventure and trying new things! I cliff jumped into the sea without assurance if I could float. I knew I could float in the swimming pool, and they said it’s easier to float in the ocean. So, I accepted the challenge. After that, every time there’s a cliff, I jump! I also tried jumping in falls, lagoons, and lakes. It feels nice to do things while you’re young and able.
About my family – I’m the youngest girl and fourth among five siblings. I’m the one who is still single, so I am responsible for my youngest brother’s college education. I want to help him to finish his studies, that’s why I’m looking forward for a job that would compensate me well.
I am now in my 31st year and started investing in my future, including real estate and insurance. The older we get, the more we want to be stable for our future. I fear that I could not pay my monthly obligations and my brother’s tuition fees. So, I am doing my best to be financially stable.
I have a strong personality. When I want something, I become determined and will do my best to achieve it through hard work, smart work, and perseverance. My virtue is this – trust in our God and have hope and faith that your dream will come true in perfect time. He will guide us and not leave us. Just have faith.
