This role is responsible for performing research and development of conceptual and system design.
General
- The position of Dry Fire Engineering Support entails the preparation of concept designs, detailed design, documentation, and construction/commissioning phase. All relating to the fire services of new and existing projects.
The Role:
Fire Services Engineer with experience in all aspects of building and fire services associated including:
- Dry fire systems
- use fire and life safety engineering principles
- Safety focus at all times in accordance with WHS Guidelines
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Report any health and safety issues to your manager immediately
- Report all equipment failures and maintenance requirements to your manager
- Set a personal example in health and safety awareness by correctly wearing all personal protective equipment supplied. Ensure that all safety equipment provided to persons under their control is worn correctly and not misused
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering , specifically Fire safety and risk Engineering
- Previous experience as a Fire services Engineer Essential
- Knowledge of specialised hazard systems including controls interfacing
- Project planning
- Resource Scheduling
- National Construction code building code of Australia knowledge
- Knowledge of Australian Standards
- Comply with all company policies and procedures at all times
- All duties are to be performed in compliance with ISO 9001:2008
- Perform all other duties as required
