We are looking for a strategic Marketing VA to help our distillery move from traditional sales to an evergreen, 24/7 sales engine. While the founder remains the “face” of the brand in-store, your mission is to build, optimize, and manage the digital systems that sell our gin while we sleep.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shopify & Evergreen Ecosystem Management
- Website Optimization: Enhance our Shopify store to maximize conversions. This includes building out high-value, indexed content (blogs, guides) to drive organic traffic.
- Omnichannel Integration: Ensure functional and optimized links across all sales channels: eBay, Google/YouTube, Pinterest, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and Shop App.
- Localization: Lead the creation of a Tagalog version of the website to tap into the massive Filipino gin-drinking community (both in Australia and the Philippines).
- Analytics: Regularly analyze site performance, identify friction points, and implement fixes to improve the customer journey.
2. Performance Marketing & Sales Funnels
- Google Ads: Review and optimize the existing Google Ads process to drive high-intent traffic directly to the Shopify store.
- Funnel Creation: Build and manage multiple monthly sales campaigns and high-converting funnels.
- Email & Automation: Establish a robust email capture process. Build an e-marketing plan inspired by top-tier Australian distilleries.
- Retention: Implement remarketing and retargeting strategies to re-engage visitors and recover abandoned carts.
- Affiliate Growth: Scale traffic and sales efficiency to the point of being eligible for major affiliate marketing networks.
3. Social Media & Content Strategy
- Cross-Channel Management: Maintain a schedule of 2–3 high-quality posts per week across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X.
- Social Proof: Systematically source and highlight positive customer reviews.
- Video Content: Build out “The Perfect Serve” series on YouTube, showcasing how to enjoy each of our unique gins.
- Twitter/X Strategy: Research and execute a strategy similar to successful peers (e.g., buyginonline.com.au) to capture the “buy gin online” market.
