We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial planning team. The ideal candidate will work closely with financial advisors to support the delivery of high-quality financial advice to clients. As a paraplanner, you will be responsible for performing research, drafting financial plans, and ensuring that all client documents and reports are accurate and up-to-date. Responsibilities:

Client Financial Research & Analysis:

  • Collect and analyse client financial data, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and investment portfolios.
  • Perform research on financial products, market trends, investment options, and tax strategies to assist in financial planning.

Prepare Financial Plans:

  • Assist financial advisors in creating customised financial plans for clients, including recommendations for investments, retirement planning, insurance, and estate planning.
  • Draft and update financial documents, reports, and presentations to support client meetings and decisions.

Data Entry & Record Management:

  • Accurately input client data into financial planning software.
  • Maintain and organise client records to ensure timely access to financial data and up-to-date documentation.

Client Communication:

  • Communicate with clients as needed to gather necessary information, clarify goals, and provide updates on financial plans and progress.
  • Liaise with external financial institutions (e.g., insurance companies, banks) to gather necessary documents or data.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

  • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • Assist with preparing documentation required for regulatory filings or audits.

Portfolio Monitoring:

  • Help track and monitor client portfolios and assist in implementing investment strategies.
  • Support in reviewing and adjusting investment portfolios based on changing market conditions and client needs.

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare meeting agendas, follow-up action plans, and post-meeting notes.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients and the processing of paperwork.
