Khrysha Castaneda – Quality Assurance, Developer

Hello there! I’m Khrysha D. Castaneda, but I prefer to be called ‘Shaa’.

I am now 27 years old and a degree holder of Industrial Technology Major in Food Preparation and Services Technology in Cebu Technological University.

I started working as a Project Control Services New Associate and Developer in Accenture for 2 and half years. My main task was to convert our website from the old platform to Sitecore, which is the new and current platform our company is using. I also attended Basic HTML training since this is required for our project.

In addition to my professional experience, I was promoted as an Application Developer Associate. For a year and a half, I performed UATs (User Acceptance Test), testings on the templates, modules, components used in our website.

I also conducted Walkthroughs via Conference call with our Buenos Aires team, Digital Marketing team, Managers and Operations team for the templates, modules and components for in-demonstration for its functionalities and behaviours before they are used in our site. I was also responsible for maintaining the Translation Guidelines for our multilingual website.

After a year, I was promoted again as a Project Control Services Analyst. My role for this position was to perform QA on the pages our developer worked. On the administrative side, I also oversaw the QAs (Quality Assurance) under me which includes providing monthly performance feedback, monitoring their daily attendance, setting up QA weekly meetings and bimonthly meetings.

I was also a Business Operator Awardee and Kal-EL Awardee. Furthermore, I created Process Document for Page deletion, page creation for the newly added templates and the functionalities of the modules and components.

I have good organisational skills and keen eye to details. These qualities are huge factors in delivering the expectations from the client. I am also trainable and flexible to changes. Given that my course was far from my professional work experience, I could attest myself that I am adaptable with the job’s requirements and specifications.

Presently, I am looking for a company where I could share my skills and experiences. If given the chance to be hired in your good company, I will give my dedication and commitment as these are the core values that I firmly hold unto as an employee and are essential to make the company successful and productive.
