Krisdel Shannen Nambio Halos – General Virtual Assistant

Hello everyone, I am Krisdel Shannen Nambio Halos, but you can call me Del for short. I have one daughter and we are living together with my domestic partner which is soon to be called my husband. I took Bachelor of Science Major in Accounting Technology in our province of Oriental Mindoro, but unfortunately I haven’t got the chance to finish it because I got pregnant with my child. After giving birth, I stayed home to prioritise breastfeeding my child until she was 3 years old. After I stopped breastfeeding, I started looking for a job to support her needs since she started going to preparatory school.

I started to work in a restaurant; that was the first time I experienced customer service and I really learned a lot how to handle customers. Then, pandemic started we had to stay at home so I decided to apply for a work from job and luckily I got hired with a BPO company. I learned how to handle calls and the first time doing work in a graveyard shift. I enjoyed it because I can see the importance of time. I can manage the time for my work at night and the time that I can spend for my family. Then, after that pandemic, I tried applying in a BPO company in Manila for me to experience working on-site. I worked in Manila, which is quite far from my family. I realised it was fun working on-site because you can have your colleagues enjoying at work together physically.

But then, staying in Manila for a long time made me realize that something is missing from me. I do have the work and the money to send for their needs, but still something is missing from me. I came home to our province for a vacation and then I felt complete. I realised I needed them by my side while I’m working so I can still monitor my child growing. And now I am still looking for a work from job that can suit my personal preferences and experiences.

I want to work and take care of my family at the same time. As a working mom, I need to maximise all the time that I can give. I want the best for my family and to be honest, the reason why I am working hard for them is because my partner has a heart disease. I did not experience a good lifestyle when I was a kid, so I don’t want my child to experience the same thing.

I aim for a better career and better future for myself and that includes my family. I want to show you my skills at the same time to learn more from this team. I am hoping someday to be part of this amazing team.
