Kristela Osit – CSR and Transcriptionist
Hi! My name is Kristela V. Osit and you can call me Stela.
I’m a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology with work experiences including assistant in Human Resources, supervisor for a well known doughnut shop, a shop manager for a Korean Store, general transcriptionist and customer service associate in a call center. I have had a variety of jobs, but the longest experience I have is being a General Transcriptionist.
I have been working as a transcriptionist for more than 5 years now. I am currently working at home because I prefer the comforts and convenience of not having to deal with the daily commute. I worked with a transcription company before I discovered that I can actually work online. Besides the fact that it’s very hard to look for a good job with a competitive salary here in our area, the main reason why I decided to work from home is because of my responsibility of taking care of my elderly mother. Being able to take care of her and earn at the same time is a blessing for me.
I was raised as a Catholic, but as I grew older, I eventually chose to be a Christian. Being the youngest child among eight siblings, I already accepted the fact that I will be the one looking after my mum, which I don’t really mind because I love taking care of her. I get to work in my own time after doing all the chores and I can check up on her by just looking through the door while I’m working in my room.
I’ve always wanted to be a Virtual Assistant because I know I have what it takes to be one. I am trainable, a fast learner and a team player. I wanted to be a part of a VA team that can help me grow and enhance my skills. I want a team where I can actually feel like a family member and like family, they will challenge your potential to help you become the best version of yourself.
I believe working as a Virtual Assistant will give me the balance that I need. I can work at my own pace and be with my family at the same time.
