Lorbe Malit – Real Estate Virtual Assistant, Social Media Manager

Hi, I am Lorbe Malit from Manila Philippines. You can call me Lorbs. I am a cool single mother to my only Son Dre. I worked at an early age since I graduated high school and never got a chance to experience college because life gives us financial challenges that I decided to sustain our daily needs.

Never did I realise that I was already doing VA’s stuff since 2009 when I worked onsite as a coordinator at my friend’s company. At an early age I learned a lot and was exposed to different challenges and situations that I must say I am experienced enough to enter this VA world.

Not until the pandemic, my friend’s company lay lowed and I had to keep going for us to survive. That’s when I entered my first BPO career as a Customer Service Representative, working from home & US US-based company while I was here in our country Manila, Philippines. At first, I was hesitant because of my lack of confidence and overthinking that I might get judged by my own co-workers because of the way I speak and the way I work, but the thing is I was chosen as Primer’s Employee of the Month they recognised and appreciate how I handled and execute my work perfectly and that was the best twist of my career life ever.

As time went by, I also entered Real Estate while working online and still working as a part-time Coordinator of my friend’s company and a full-time BPO employee, I did handle those multiple works since I knew how to manage my time and schedules.

I had no idea what VA is all about not until almost all of my friends switched careers and tried their luck in the VA world. That’s when I got interested and started taking basic training and knowing well what niche should I take or what niche fits my skills. It was a bit challenging and also exciting since VA has a lot of niches to choose from until I got my luck with clients and the rest is history.

So now here I am trying again my luck to be in your team since I am also looking for a long-term career. I know for a fact that my heart and my lifestyle belong to this kind of career that I know I will surely love and be passionate about.

Now, my goal is to advance in my profession by acquiring new knowledge and abilities that will help me be a better person and apply them to both my work and my personal life.
