Mikee Ajoc – Digital Marketing, Virtual Assistant

Hello, my name is Mikee, and I’m from Surigao City. I’m a work-from-home mom to a beautiful 8-year-old girl. I graduated with a degree in Mass Communication from St. Paul University Surigao. My journey into digital marketing and virtual assistance began after working as a call centre agent in a BPO company. The daily commute and dealing with traffic became overwhelming, so I decided to make a change. With a strong foundation in communication and a passion for technology, I ventured into this field to help businesses, especially those led by strong, independent women, thrive online—all while balancing my responsibilities as a mom. Working from home has allowed me to be present for my daughter while pursuing my career goals. There’s nothing more powerful than an independent woman, right?

Over the years, I’ve developed a wide range of skills in digital marketing and virtual assistance. I’ve undergone extensive training, attended webinars, and engaged in self-study to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies. This continuous learning process has equipped me to create and optimise marketing funnels, manage websites and landing pages, and execute effective email marketing campaigns.

A turning point in my career came when I realised I was no longer happy with my job. I was sleep-deprived and couldn’t find a balance between my career and personal life. I had to ask myself, “What’s next?” I knew I didn’t want to let circumstances like these control my career and life again. That’s when I made a vow to never rely on a physical location for work, but instead live life on my terms and control my own destiny.

Everything changed when I discovered funnels! I’m particularly passionate about funnel building, finding immense joy in crafting and optimising sales funnels that drive results. I don’t need to be a programmer to build one—the beauty of funnel building lies in its blend of creativity and analytics. I love designing visually appealing landing pages that capture attention and writing compelling copy that resonates with the target audience, even though I wouldn’t call myself a graphic design expert.

Now, I can confidently say that I’m thriving. Each project brings a new challenge and a chance to learn and grow, and I approach every one of them with enthusiasm. Here’s to more funnel building and a balanced life!
