Mildred D. Aurina – Supervisor

mildred-aurina-casualMy name is Mildred Aurina, a graduate of Bachelor of Arts Major in Psychology.

I am happily married and a mother of 2 wonderful boys. They are my strength and the main reason why I would like to shift to freelancing. I love spending time with my kids and would to like to witness all of their milestones as they grow up.

I am currently working as Compliance Supervisor in a private company that offer services to one of the Government offices. I am responsible for checking the research and investigation of our compliance officers. I am also responsible for the submission of non-compliant reports to the Government office.

Prior to this, I worked in the BPO industry for more than a decade. I started as a Chat Support and was promoted as a Shift Supervisor, Quality Assurance Team Leader and Deputy Manager. As an officer, I ensure that the department meets the KPI set by the company. I reviewed standard operating procedures and made necessary adjustments if needed for the improvement of the services we offer. I was also assigned to perform some administrative tasks such as making weekly and monthly reports, employee’s performance evaluation, and facilitate needed trainings for the team’s improvement.

mildred-aurina-bondingMy work experience in the BPO industry taught me how to multitask in a fast-paced world. I’ve attended a series of leadership trainings that helped me a lot in becoming a good leader to my colleagues. I also worked as a Teacher and Recruitment Specialist for local and overseas employments.

Working in different industries (Education, HR related and BPO) taught me how to deal with different types of people and overcome challenges. I have learned to always face these challenges positively and treat them as motivation to learn new things and improve myself.

I’ve enjoyed working in the corporate world and happy with what I have achieved in my career. However, motherhood gave me a different goal and perspective in life. I would like to pursue my career without limiting the time I need to spend with my family. Guiding my kids to grow into fine and well-mannered men while helping their father provide a good life for them.

Watching TV series (American and K-dramas), reading novels and baking are other “things” that make me happy aside from my work and family.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself and share my story with you. I look forward working with your team.
