Paul Victor Salatandre – General Virtual Assistant
I was born into a family that revolved around the health care and the government sector. I have a sister and we were both raised to be Nurses. Back when I was very young, I dreamt of a lot of careers, from being a simple public utility driver (cause I have seen the folded bills interlocked in their fingers. Haha), to being a doctor like my mother.
As years went by, I started to understand what I think I would like to do. I was an amateur go-kart driver in my teens. I thought I had a future in the sport as I saw the opportunity to grow and join Formula Racing.
But part of me wanted to make my parents proud and take up Nursing as that is the preferred career my parents want us siblings to take. Unfortunately, me and my sister were not able to get our licenses but we at least made it out and graduated.
That is when we started to take on the BPO industry and took training before trying to apply for the major companies back then.
Long story short. I have found my calling in the BPO Industry.
With extensive experience in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, I have developed a diverse skill set that makes me highly adaptable and capable of excelling in various departments, from operations and administration to training. My background includes a wide range of Line of Business (LOB) roles such as customer service, finance, sales, healthcare, and technical support, allowing me to thrive in dynamic environments and handle multiple responsibilities.
Throughout my career in the BPO sector, I have managed numerous customer interactions via inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats, consistently delivering exceptional service. I have a solid understanding of CRM tools and various software platforms, enabling me to meet performance targets and resolve complex issues efficiently. My ability to remain composed and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations ensures that I consistently deliver results aligned with organisational goals.
In addition to my BPO experience, I have gained substantial expertise as a freelancer and virtual professional, particularly in property management, account management, and Shopify customer service. As a property manager, I have successfully overseen property maintenance, resolved tenant concerns, and ensured timely rent collection. My role as an account manager involved building strong client relationships and ensuring that their expectations were consistently met. Lastly, my work as a Shopify Customer Service Representative required me to swiftly resolve both technical and account-related issues, contributing to positive customer experiences.
I am confident that my combination of BPO expertise and freelance experience makes me a strong candidate for the team. I bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to success in everything I do.
