Rafa Franchesca Dela Cruz – Executive Assistant

My name is Rafa Franchesca R. Dela Cruz, and my story begins with my passion for building meaningful connections and managing multiple responsibilities with creativity and perseverance. Throughout my life, I have embraced challenges, taken on leadership roles, and discovered the joy of customer service—all of which have shaped the person I am today.

In 2023, I started my entrepreneurial journey by founding Albento Bites, a Japanese food business. It was both an exciting and humbling experience that taught me what it takes to manage operations from end to end. From designing marketing campaigns using Canva to engaging with customers through social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, I gained invaluable skills in communication, brand building, and problem-solving. Managing Albento Bites gave me hands-on experience in understanding customer needs, handling inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction through personalised interactions. This journey not only allowed me to develop a solid work ethic but also nurtured my passion for customer service.

At the same time, I juggled academics, demonstrating my ability to manage time efficiently and balance multiple priorities. My work experience extended beyond my business as I took on a role as a waitress at Rouge’s Café, where I further honed my customer service skills. Handling diverse requests, solving customer issues on the spot, and working under pressure gave me insights into the importance of empathy and patience. These experiences shaped my ability to remain calm and collected, even in high-stress situations.

In 2024, I also completed an internship at the Alcobendas-Garcia Dental Clinic, where I supported patient interactions and clinic operations. This role provided a unique perspective on delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment and taught me to adapt quickly to new situations. Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed being part of a team, learning from others, and contributing to shared goals.

As I look to the future, I am excited about the opportunity to transition into a virtual assistant role. My entrepreneurial background, customer service experience, and ability to manage time and tasks independently make me confident in my ability to support clients remotely. I am particularly drawn to this role because it aligns with my passion for helping others and my love for solving problems creatively.

Every step of my journey has been about learning, adapting, and growing. I am eager to bring this same energy and dedication to the Virtual Assistant Team, where I hope to contribute meaningfully while continuing to develop my skills. I look forward to the possibility of working remotely, where I can support businesses efficiently and take on new challenges as I continue to grow professionally.
