royette-pacil-vaHello! My name is Roy, and I want to share with you my story.

I’m a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and a professional with nearly 4 years of Account Management experience in various fields such as of Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Employment Website, and Business Process Outsourcing.

During my tenure as a Leasing Associate in one of the biggest Real Estate / Land Developer companies in the Philippines. I provided account management and outstanding client support services, particularly to the biggest local and international food, retail, and services brands.

Prior to that, I was part of the CRM operations department of a retail company that has the official right to retail some of the finest international brands in fashion, such as Gucci, Prada, Burberry, Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent to name a few. I also have experience in Business Process Outsourcing, where I provided outstanding customer service for North American clients of an established American Retail Company.

“Be Brave and Take Risks: You need to have faith in yourself” – this is the quote that gave me the courage to permanently leave the corporate world, and explore better opportunities in Freelancing. This pandemic made us realise the true meaning of happiness, and for me, that is to take care of my parents who are both disabled, and be able to place food on our table at the same time.

To acquire new skills, I enrolled in multiple courses that will be helpful in my career as a full-time freelancer. The long-term goal that I’m looking forward to achieving in the next five years is to have a meaningful work-life balance and continuous career growth.
