Senpais collaborates with artists to create amazing exclusive merchandise based on Anime and Streetwear. They offer decals, clothing, and accessories at a host of events and through their online store.
While shopping online has increased globally over time for Senpais, you’ll also see their stalls showcasing fashion and artwork at many of the larger expos throughout the world, including Comic Con, Crunchyroll Expo, and Supernova… just to name a few!
If you’re unfamiliar with the industry, ‘Anime’ is a Japanese word derived from the English word ‘Animation’. The ‘artform’ has been produced in Japan since 1916 and has a huge following right up to this day. Its main fan-base is teens and young adults. Well known Animes include Naruto, One Piece, Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, and all of the Studio Ghibli movies.
These Anime characters are popular also in the Cosplay arena. Senpais’ Instagram and TikTok platforms have exploded with pics and videos of fans wearing clothing and costumes from the design range. They have been successful in building a community for likeminded fans of Anime and Streetwear to connect and share their thoughts and experiences.
Japanese Streetwear refers to styles in modern contemporary Japanese fashion. It became super popular in the 1990’s and early 2000’s. And while styles of street fashion may have changed, the demand for it is still strong today.
