Shahid Ullah – Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Techno-Functional Consultant

Assalamualalikum, I am Syed Md Shahid Ullah. I have a post graduate degree in Mathematics and a Diploma in Web Centric Computing from NIIT. I am married & proud father of three kids.

I have started my career in programming just after completing the Post-Graduation and in the last semester of NIIT in 2001, I initially was coding in VB6 and SQL server. Soon after I got a huge opportunity to develop an accounting software for a renowned manpower recruiting agency in Bangladesh and I have successfully developed this system, they are using it until now. After that, I have developed a full-fledged ERP for Ready Made Garments sector using Oracle 9i.

We are four brothers and I am the youngest. My father died long time ago and it was very difficult to continue my education. I had to work hard to find a job and I have started well in 2001 and it was good going.

In the year 2011 I have joined to OLLO Wireless Internet (Multinet Bangladesh) as ERP Implementation Manager. I have Implemented Dynamics 2009 R2 ERP here for its Finance, Procurement & Sales & Inventory Operations. Here I have managed huge amount of Assets using the Dynamics ERP. It was good going but after serving almost eight years (2011 to 2019) in a Multinational Telecommunications Company I had to fall in financial crisis as the company suddenly stopped operation in Bangladesh without paying our Due Salaries & Bonuses, Others Benefits etc. I have suffered a lot in 2019 due to this and also took some time to find a new job. My Mother also got sick as she suffered from brain stroke. I couldn’t do much for her due to my financial crisis. Alhamdulillah, nowadays I am working again as Dynamics 365 ERP consultant and like to explore more & more in this field in the coming days.

In my 20 years of career, I have worked on almost 10 years in Dynamics NAV and Business Central 365 ERP and have implemented/supported 4 companies in Bangladesh. I have mostly worked in the Accounts, Procurement, Sales & Inventory and Attendance & Payroll process automation.

I never thought that I will apply for an Accounting VA for Dynamics 365 ERP but While working in Dynamics 365 ERP I got huge practical experience in Accounting specially Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets Management and Financial reporting.

I am also lucky that I have worked with some good CFO’s in my career which make me more enriched in Accounts understanding. Now days I am even planning to migrate to Full-fledged accounting professionals as I have the core functional knowledge and I like to take an advance degree in Accounting & Information Systems.
