Twinkle Faye Encio – Virtual Assistant

Hi, I’m Twinkle Faye Encio, and you can call me Twinks. I am a graduating student of the University of the Philippines Visayas with a BS in Accountancy. I finished my last semester last year and am just waiting for my graduation ceremony in July 2025. My journey into the virtual assistant world is a story of ambition, curiosity, and adaptability. I’ve always been someone who values personal growth and development, which is why I decided to explore becoming a virtual assistant, even though my background is in accountancy.

After finishing my last semester in college, I realised that I wanted to gain more diverse experience outside the traditional accounting roles. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, organising tasks, and managing time effectively, which is why I thought a virtual assistant position would be a great fit for me. However, the challenge was getting a direct client with no previous experience in this field. It was intimidating at first, but I didn’t let that discourage me.

In my previous roles as a leader in college organisations, I gained significant experience that closely mirrors the responsibilities of a virtual assistant. As the Vice President for Internal Affairs, I coordinated events, delegated tasks, and maintained schedules to ensure smooth operations. I also worked on creating promotional materials, managing social media posts, and assisting in the organisation of webinars. These tasks have given me valuable skills in administrative support, content creation, and communication.

Although I didn’t have formal experience as a virtual assistant, I knew that my organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks would translate well to this new role. I’ve always been a fast learner and take pride in my adaptability. I’m also highly resourceful and diligent in completing tasks to the best of my ability, which are qualities that I believe will make me an effective virtual assistant.

Even though I’m just starting out in this field, I am confident that the experience I’ve gained from my academic background and leadership roles will allow me to thrive in this new path. I am eager to learn more, take on new challenges, and further develop my skills as I build my career as a virtual assistant.

Being a virtual assistant allows me to provide flexibility in my work and give me more time to focus on other important aspects of my life. I believe this role is a great opportunity for growth, and I am excited to embark on this new journey and offer my skills to clients in need of reliable support.
