Zenisa S. Garcia – Customer Service Representative
Hi, I’m Zen. 🙂
I used to be a working student when I was in college. I have always been one of the top students and I was a member of our student council. I have experienced working full time and part time to support my studies.
I have been working as a Customer and Technical Support Representative. I handle emails and provide customer service and chat support. The most challenging part of being a Customer Service Representative is how to calm down an irate client. At first, it was very hard to pacify them. But day by day, I learned how to deal with those kind of customers. I let them vent it all out, until they calm down.
Having soft skills is an important asset when you’re in the customer service industry. It’s satisfying when angry customers put down the phone with a smile on their faces not only because you helped resolve their issues, but also turned their moods from grumpy to happy.
I have encountered different types of people with different personalities, but I was able to adjust to all of them with ease.
My experience in Customer Service has given me a lot of opportunities to grow as a person. I remember always getting commendations from our clients. It feels good when you go that extra mile. I hope I can also extend my hand for clients who are in need of further assistance. I’m always thinking positive! If there’s a will, there’s a way.
