Skills Required

- Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
- Fluent/experience in Office 365: Teams, One Drive, Outlook, Word, Excel and able to learn new computer programs
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media marketing including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Google MB, and LinkedIn
- Familiarity or willingness to learn Canva, Notion, Dropbox and other programs
Clinical Admin Duties:
- Every Monday and Thursday morning check on progress of lens orders through Eyespace
- Check and receive all letters/reports sent to us via Medical Objects for the week every Monday and Thursday
- Monitor outstanding referral letters and clinical tasks from Teams Tasks lists
Admin Duties:
- All general PA tasks assisting the managing director
- Remote monitoring of reports through PMS weekly and monthly
- Spreadsheeting and sales analysis for various business reports
- Maintaining databases
- Create spreadsheets as required
- Preparation of information required for staff meetings
- General admin tasks that may arise over time
MARKETING DUTIES:
Co-ordinator:
- Assist MD in implementing monthly advertising activities as per marketing plan
- Update local centre ads/posters/social media/websites each month to co-ordinate with marketing plan
- Monitor competitor promos weekly/monthly and send info to team
- Measuring marketing statistics and sales results: discount report, source report etc
- Market analysis
Digital Marketing Activities:
- Website: write (or co-ordinate writing of) 2 blog posts a month and optimise SEO on these
- Maintain and update the companies’ social media campaigns including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Google My Business
- Enews: maintain uploads updates to mail database
Send monthly/quarterly enews (use provision material and templates)
- Videos: assist AB in writing and shooting then posting videos to YouTube and website blog
- Monitor progress of any outsourced digital marketing
Referral marketing:
- Manage referral program for specialty care and ensure regular communication with local referrers
- Organize visits, emails/letters advising services offered
- Optometrists: dry eyes, keratoconus/specialty CL’s, ortho-k/myopia control
- Ophthals:
- GP’s
- Allied health
- Specialists for dry eyes:
- Aviation schools
- Help organize local speaking opportunities
Recall Marketing:
- RECALL SYSTEM monitoring: Recall success report
Database Marketing:
- Assist MD in creating database lists for direct marketing opportunities each month
- Implement direct marketing program developed
Skills training needed:
- Basic knowledge for web updates and blogging
- YouTube video editing and uploads (FB and website posting as well)
- How to use mailchimp/flodesk
- Provision resources
- Notion and other platforms used
