Aerol Gepiga – Customer Service Representative

Hi, I am Aerol James Gepiga but my friends and colleagues use to call me ‘Ajing’ and most of my relatives call me ‘AJ’. I am now 22 years old and second among 3 siblings. I was raised by my grandparents since my mother and father were separated while I was very young.

I am a Senior high school graduate under the strand of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). I graduated in April 2018 and my grandparents were very proud of me and my achievements. After that, I decided to stop studying because my elder sister had her own family and no one was able to support my brother to be sent to school, and since we needed to strive to live a life way better than we had, I went to Davao City to work in order to provide for my needs for those of my siblings.

I was hired by one of the good companies here in Davao. Concentrix gave me experience and knowledge of how to deal with different kinds of clients and customers. I was a Technical Support Representative there and I worked with that company for about 2 years. That was my first BPO job in Davao City and it helped me a lot, especially in gaining experience.

But before that I tried working as a freelancer, I became a cold caller for real estate for about a month and also tried to work in data entry under Amazon where we did product listing. My last job was at VXI solution where I was a sales associate for about 3 months. But since Davao city is on high risk of COVID I decided to find a job where I can work at home.
