Elly Rose Ledda – Operations, ESL Tutor

Hi! I am Elly Rose Ledda—you can call me Elly. I am a mother to a lovely daughter, who has been my greatest motivation and source of joy. A few years ago, I moved away from my parents due to a family problem that made me decide to go on my own and embrace independence at a young age. Being the youngest of four siblings, this was a challenging yet transformative experience that taught me resilience and adaptability. Over the years, I have worked at various companies, exploring different roles to discover what truly suits me best.

During the early years of my career, I found myself in customer service roles, where I was on the front line, directly interacting with customers. This experience was incredibly valuable, as I developed strong communication skills and learned how to handle irate guests and address their concerns efficiently and empathetically. I gained firsthand experience in conflict resolution and understood the importance of patience and active listening in delivering exceptional customer service. These skills have shaped me into a calm and composed individual, even in high-pressure situations.

As my career progressed, I transitioned into an Operations Assistant role, where I was responsible for coordinating various aspects of daily operations. I honed my organizational and multitasking skills, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient task management. However, when the pandemic hit, I made the difficult decision to resign from my job as I was pregnant at the time. Prioritizing my health and that of my unborn child was paramount, and this pause in my career gave me a new perspective on what I wanted professionally.

After giving birth, I decided to explore the world of remote work, which seemed ideal for balancing my professional aspirations with motherhood. I ventured into digital marketing, driven by a desire to learn and grow in a field that was both dynamic and rewarding. I took the initiative to create my own Facebook and Instagram ads, experimenting with different strategies to understand what resonates with audiences. Additionally, I built my own website and landing pages, delving into website design and user experience to optimize engagement and conversions.

Now, I am more determined than ever to pursue a remote career to apply the diverse skills I have acquired. With a solid foundation in customer service, operations, and digital marketing, I am eager to take on new opportunities where I can contribute my expertise. I am particularly drawn to roles that allow me to utilize my knowledge in social media management, advertising, and administrative processes.

I believe that working remotely will provide me with the flexibility I need as a mother while allowing me to continue growing professionally. I am enthusiastic about learning new tools, adapting to different industries, and collaborating with international teams. My goal is to build a stable and fulfilling career in the remote work industry, where I can continuously enhance my skills, contribute meaningfully, and create a balanced life for myself and my family.
