Patricia Angeles – Administrative Officer

Hello, my name is Patricia Anjela E Angeles, you can call me Jela, I am 28 years old and I am from the Philippines. I have 7 dogs. Yes! 7 dogs 🙂 their names are Asia, Bella, Coco, Lucky, Magic, Chewbie and Batman. Year 2013-2015 when I started in College, took up the course Psychology and shifted to Development Studies in 2015-2018. I am 4 year College Undergraduate, sadly I wasn’t able to finish my studies due to family matter. The hotel where my Dad used to work got burned down in 2018 that’s why I have to find for a job to sustain my needs and my family, although I have an older sister she is working also to sustain our family needs. Up until now I don’t have any plans yet to go back to school and finish my studies because my focus is to have a permanent job and save money. By the way, in my own opinion not finishing your studies with valid reason is not a hindrance as long as you know your worth and what are you capable of.

Year 2018, I got hired and started working in April 2018 as Inventory Clerk (Customer Service), in a Manufacturing Company, I am the one who provides customer support and handling calls, emails and inquiries from our customers, processing orders and returns. After 10 months I got promoted as HR Assistant and did not expect it, maybe because I am just being helpful in my HR Generalist and saw a potential in me that’s why the management promoted me as her HR Assistant. After almost a year, I got promoted again as Administrative Officer and it last 5 years.

In the span of 5 years of being Admin Officer, I also have a part time job as Social Media Manager for 2 years in Sugar Momma Cookies and Pastries, it is our small business of my Mother, I helped her baking fresh goodies every weekends when I don’t have work. I am the one who manage our Facebook and Instagram page to engaged customers and enticed by delicious cookies and pastries.

Last year, August I decided to leave my last job due to growth opportunities and to figure out what can I contribute more in a big company since I believe I am capable and do have experiences, plus I also want to experience a remote work job again. And yes, here I am still seeking for a full time job and I hope this is the final moment where I can finally say that I have a job again.
