Scribner John Tamiroy – Architect

scribner-tamiroy-profileHi, I’m Scribner John B. Tamiroy, 25 years of age, and currently residing in Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines.

I’m in my 2nd year as an Architect. I am technically proficient in 2D and 3D modeling/rendering using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Lumion. In my current job as Junior Architect, I supervise apprentices on making working drawings, site supervisions and processing on Building Permits.

In my pre-college moment, I came up with a decision to pursue Architecture for it was very unpopular for me in terms of Profession and for other people too. At that time I just wanted to be different from other teenagers. Then as years went by, I learned to love Architecture, for I believe it can change people’s lives… actually I believe it can change the world as well. I’m a very optimistic kind of person. Architecture fits me well for I solve spaces and problems in a positive way, that is time efficient, and provides client satisfaction and is profit friendly to contractors.

scribner-tamiroy-hobbyI also love to do 3D rendering and architectural visualisation, but more on exterior perspectives. My appreciation for 3D graphics started when I was a kid when my eldest brother always installed new games on our computer… and I think that was also the time my hobby for playing computer games started!

In my free time I like to go on adventures and road trips with friends and loved ones. Some of those adventures include four wheel driving, joining charity events on four wheel driving, going on friendly trails in our local area. Climbing mountains, hills, doing river crossings is such a beautiful experience and with the sceneries that Mother Nature provides. It’s another kind of fulfillment that can literally change your way of life as a person.

I work with passion and commitment. I am punctual in terms of deadlines and can work under pressure. I love this job for it is fun and enjoyable and there are so many things to learn. I am hoping that someday I can build my own Architectural Firm.
