Alyssa Milan Mendoza – Industrial Engineer
Hi, I am Alyssa Milan Mendoza, and my journey has a mixture of efficiency, creativity and organization. I have always been passionate about improving processes and making things run smoothly, whether in corporate world , music industry or now as a Virtual Assistant. I started my professional career as a BPS Engineer at Brother Industries (Philippines), Inc. where I worked on optimizing systems and workflows, coordinating with different departments and even top management, managing schedules to make operations even more efficient. My role required attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong organizational skills, all of which helped me ensure smooth operations. I also learned how to handle high-pressure situations since I work with top management, stay organized and manage my time efficiently. I enjoyed working and making processes efficient while keeping things organized.
While I thrived in my corporate job, I also had a deep passion for music which I had nurtured since I was in college. After some time in the corporate world, I decided to take a leap and pursue it professionally. For the past two years, I have been a band singer/vocalist, performing at different events and venues.
Being a performer isn’t just about singing, it also involves networking, communication and managing scheduled. I was responsible for talking to potential clients, handling bookings, and ensuring our band was well-prepared for every event. This experience helped me develop strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. These skills that are essential in any profession.
Now, I have combined my skills in corporate work, music and client management to work as a Virtual Assistant. I handle scheduling, administrative tasks and communication with the use of tools like Microsoft Office, Google suite, Trello, Notion, Zoom, etc.. These tools help me keep everything structured and ensure that my clients stay on top of their work. I can confidently say that I am reliable, detail-oriented, companiable, and proactive wherein I always make sure tasks are done smoothly and on-time, whether organizing calendars, managing emails, or even handling client communication.
I love helping businesses stay organized and efficient, making their work easier and productive. I am excited to bring my sills, passion and dedication to every project I take on.
