Hello! 🙂 My name is Charlyn Tomayao and that quote inspires me in every aspect of my life.

I’m from a small family with only 1 sibling (a sister) who I have an 11-year gap with. When I was a child, I always dreamed of big things and I always knew I could achieve them because I studied hard and I had the right attitude. I thought positively and felt comforted by the fact that soon I could surpass whatever challenges life will present to me. I learned at a very young age, how passion can help you achieve your goals and embracing both the favourable and the negative things will help you become successful.

I’ve been in the work force for more than 18 years. I started out young at 19 years of age, as a disc jockey in a local charlyn-tomayao-bikingradio station while studying at the same time. Work and study were never challenging for me because I had fun doing them! I love communicating with other people and speaking the English language was one of my strong suits, even then. I knew that I was inclined to be working in a related industry after school.

My first BPO experience was for an online travel account in the US. I was one of their Customer Service Representatives specifically called their Universal Agent, which means I have to book flights, accommodation, car rentals or even events for our clients.

After a couple of months, I became a mentor for my fellow agents and I discovered that I had a knack for coaching. Since then, I worked my way up to Quality Assurance Analyst. As a QA, I acquired Office and Administrative, Advertising, Marketing and even Selling skills because of the different type of accounts and industries I have to train and coach my agents with. After a couple of years, I eventually became a Language and Product Trainer, and even managed my own team, handling several types of accounts in different industries.

I started my own family in 2008 and managed my own business selling Computers and Accessories together with my husband. I felt I had to leave the corporate world to raise a family but as time passed, I realised I can handle both so I took a home-based job working as an ESL teacher for Chinese students.

Experience taught me the value of Reliability, the right Attitude, Talent and Professionalism. I always make sure that I love what I am doing and put my heart into every task, that is why I am confident I can be the perfect Virtual Assistant for you.
