Nemenrose Enoveso – Virtual Assistant

Hello, I’m Nemenrose Enoveso from Catbalogan City. Just call me Nemen. My journey to this point in my career has been shaped by my eagerness to learn and venture into new things. This curiosity has led me to explore various fields and ultimately transition into remote work, where I have found a fulfilling balance between my professional and personal life.

I started my career working with a client from Texas in the United States, primarily conducting Zoom meetings for both one-on-one and group sessions. These virtual meetings allowed me to develop seamless communication and coordination skills, ensuring that all sessions ran smoothly. I was responsible for aligning training sessions with organisational standards, much like the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) guidelines. Through this role, I became proficient in utilising various online platforms to introduce training content and keep participants engaged.

Part of my job involved preparing progress reports, scheduling sessions, and maintaining meticulous records to ensure everything flowed efficiently. I regularly communicated with clients and stakeholders, keeping them updated and addressing any concerns or inquiries. This experience helped me grow not only in terms of technical proficiency but also in my ability to build strong, professional relationships remotely.

What motivated me to transition to remote work was the desire to have more time for my family and be present for life’s important moments. The flexibility of working from home has allowed me to be there for my loved ones while still advancing in my career. I’ve been able to pursue professional growth without sacrificing my role as a student and as a breadwinner.

Over time, I’ve developed key skills that make me an effective Virtual Assistant. I am proficient in organising tasks, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth workflow. My ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple tasks at once has been essential in maintaining efficient operations. I’ve also taken on roles involving customer support, website maintenance, and social media management. Training and coaching others have also been fulfilling aspects of my work, as I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned and contributing to a positive team environment.

Like any role, working remotely comes with its challenges. One of the biggest was adapting to the new dynamics of virtual communication and coordination. However, being adaptable has been key to my growth. I learned quickly how to manage tasks independently while still staying connected with my team and clients. I’ve also become more resourceful in troubleshooting technical issues and finding solutions on the go.

Working remotely has significantly improved my life by allowing me to maintain a healthy balance between my family and work. I can be fully present for my family while still meeting the demands of my clients. Looking ahead, my goal is to continue growing in my career, honing my skills, and ensuring that I consistently deliver high-quality work. I aim to provide the best service to my clients while continuing to learn and adapt in this ever-evolving field.
