Jhenseen Hapayon – Administrative Assistant, Social Media Management

jhenseen-hapayon-vaHi, I’m Jhenseen Hapayon, you can call me Jhen. I graduated with a degree in Automotive Technology from Bukidnon State University. As I stepped into a newer journey in my life, I never thought I would aim for a work-from-home job. Job hunting is tough whether online or in a physical one when you have a little experience in a certain position and my degree hinders me from applying for a certain job opening position. I wanted a job that was fulfilling, and enjoyable and where I could still spend some of my time with my mother and a time of solitude with God.

When I was still a student, I started out working as a social media manager assistant where I did the basic graphics and editing, then I was tasked to do the posting management, reports of engagement metrics, and content caption.

After graduation, it was hard to find a full-time job in our area, so I risked applying online as a part-time influencer marketing admin, where I handle big and small content creators for businesses that track the engagement and successful rate reach of the strategy that the Social Media Strategist developed. It was hard adjusting to a newer environment for the first week of working as an Influencer Marketing admin because I was not familiar with how to do it even though I had been doing beauty content for almost four years.

Surprisingly, I was able to adjust quickly as I understood the in-depth responsibilities given to me. Even though I have a part-time, I still desire to have full-time work that would cover all my day-to-day expenses since my mother is under medication. I am confident that I am highly capable of adapting, learning new things, and making connections with people I’ll jhenseen-hapayon-vabe working with. For me, no work is easy when you don’t intend to learn the in-depth of it. Work, exploration, and learning must be taken seriously, in that way, it will be easier for me to ask when needed and help me to deliver an amazing output.

During the pandemic, I realised that remote work was not only a necessity but also a great opportunity for someone like me, who values flexibility and independence. It allowed me to generate income while balancing my responsibilities as a student who was facing financial challenges. Now, I’m ready to take on full-time roles in this space and continue growing my career. I am aiming for more growth and opportunities as I take a step in this new journey. I believe this opportunity will mould me as a person who can balance my work and life, and I know this will be a fulfilling journey for me.
