Jolina Bonfanti – Administrative Assistant, Marketing

jolina-bonfanti-vaHi! I am Jolina Bonfanti. I am a married woman and a mother.

I am very passionate about graphic design and I can say that I am a creative person who likes to experiment with new things. I am adaptable and flexible to different situations and people. I have skills and experience in Basic Computer Skills such as Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Presentation using Microsoft Office software. Also, in Graphic Design and Video Editing using Adobe software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.

Let me tell you a little bit of my story …

In 2015, I took a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. We have produced several films and shows and my role was always Video Editor in every production. It was the time when I started to learn how to use editing software and soon acquired skills by exploring the programs and watching tutorials.

During my internship at Manila Broadcasting Company in 2018, my main tasks were delivering news scripts, transcribing an interview, and revising an article while observing live news. By observing all the staffs’ efforts and hard work, I realized that it is not all about skills, but also that effort and passion apply.

jolina-bonfanti-vaIn 2019, I finally graduated and also got my first job. I started my career as an Online Marketing Officer. On my first day, I was put into a position where I had to learn quickly. Instead of falling to the side because of the pressure, I decided to embrace the challenge. Learning new things has since become fun for me.
Later on, I realized that I am pregnant so I decided to leave my last job since it’s risky for me to go to work because of the pandemic. My partner is kind of a businessman and he owns an apartment building so he was able to support us financially. We decided to get married on August 28, 2020, and I gave birth to a baby boy on October 8, 2020. That’s when I stopped my career and decided to stay at home and focus on my baby.

While at home, I’ve been attending webinars and exploring editing software in my free time because I always knew that I wanted to return to work because I’d like to continue my career and my passions, while still being a mother.

Now that I am ready to return to work and pursue my career as a graphic designer, I am confident that I can be a good asset to your company once you hire me because of my passion, creativity, and good attitude.
