Maui Bunag – Customer Service Representative

Hi. I am Maui B. Bunag, you can call me by my first name. I’m the eldest of two siblings. I’m an undergraduate with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Informatics College Caloocan. Though I wasn’t able to finish my studies due to financial issues, I worked hard and was able to work in the BPO industry to help with my family’s needs, gain more experience in my career, and help me in my Virtual Assistant journey. Having no experience as a Virtual Assistant doesn’t mean I can’t catch up or help my clients with their needs. Though there are some adjustments and things to familiarize myself with, I know that I can be the best Virtual Assistant to my client with the knowledge and experience I have and my eagerness to learn to improve myself and to help my career.

Being a breadwinner in my family is not easy. Besides, I took it as a motivation in my life and strength so that I can still fight in my life and for my future family. Working in the BPO industry for almost 4 years helped me improve my communication skills and be able to converse with foreign customers and make me boost my confidence to talk with them. I feel happy whenever I can fix or help their concerns and make them feel that I’m with them to understand their concerns and help through my ability and knowledge from my training and I would like to do it the same way with my future client which makes me feel great. I was a person who doubted my ability before but the process and the experience I had was great and made me feel I could do something beyond my expectations to myself. There are things that I want to learn more about that I can apply to my career and myself.

Being a Virtual Assistant can help me with my new path and career. I’m excited to work with my future clients and help them as they help me with my life. I’ll never stop learning and taking on new challenges so if there is an opportunity to grow as a professional and hardworking person, I take that opportunity to prove that I can. Not to provide just financially but also time to my loved ones is a great gift that I aim to provide. Yes, I know that there are some struggles I may face in my path but also Looking back on my previous journey made me realize that the darkest day of having failures and struggles can motivate me and can still raise and be the best version of myself.

Now I’m seeking to fit in this industry with the knowledge and experience I have. It would be great if I could be given an opportunity. I’ll work hard and prove that I can be the best I can be as a Virtual Assistant and I will never waste the blessing given to me. I’m taking on new challenges and having a better future in my journey.
