Michelle Capacia – Customer Service Representative

Hi, I am Michelle Capacia; you can call me Mich. I am a wife and mother of 2 lovely girls. And I am also living with my mum. We are currently residing at Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Cavite, Philippines. My live-in partner is currently working abroad in Saudi Arabia. I have studied for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at ICCT COLLEGES. However, I was not able to finish it due to financial issues. It was just only 3 years in college. Way back in 2011 I used to work as a service crew in a famous fast food chain here in the Philippines. It was a contractual job before, and I was assigned to 3 different branches for almost 3 years. And after that, I decided to step up and apply to the BPO industry.

In my first BPO job, I was hired as a Sales Advisor at Concentrix Company, located in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. I’ve handled Sprint accounts, now part of T-Mobile. It was a Telco sales account and lasted for almost a year; the reason why I left was due to a company layoff. After that, I applied for another BPO, and I was hired as a technical support representative at Alorica Makati City. I’ve handled the AT&T Uverse account, and I’ve been working there for only 4 months because the account was dissolved. They have offered us to transfer to a different LOB or account, but I decided not to take it. And now my recent job was hired as a Customer Service Advocate. I’ve handled the Cigna Medicare Advantage plan account, and I am assisting members of this insurance. We do inbound and outbound phone calls. and our main call drivers are eligibility status, claims benefit coverage, and prior authorisation status. Material request, primary care physician change, participation status, and updating demographics. We are also helping them to locate INN providers and helping them
to file an appeal and grievance. Aside from the medical LOB. I was cross-trained in the dental and pharmacy LOB under member services as well. I am a flexible, hardworking, and detail-oriented person.

Currently, I’m on the hunt for a long-term project with a new client, preferably in healthcare. I have worked on similar projects before and understand the challenges and requirements of this field. I am passionate about the position and believe this position is an excellent opportunity for me to contribute my skills and grow my career. I am excited about the prospect of working with such a talented team and being part of this organisation’s success. I’ll bring onboard a tonne of experience in the industry. a great attitude, and my best.
