Princes Dian Bernardo – Cabin Crew, Social Media, Executive Assistance
My name is Princes Bernardo; I live in the Philippines. I believe that with over a decade of experience in customer service, I have developed a strong capability to excel in fast-paced environments while consistently maintaining high levels of organisation and attention to detail. My job as lead cabin crew has also taught me how to effectively sell our goods and merchandise items to our valued customers, be they local or foreign passengers, by offering them bundle items to help them save as well. This is where my journey on marketing and selling started. I volunteered as a catering sales assistant where I managed up to 40 million inventories for goods on retail that we sold inside the aircraft before we delivered them to each cart. As a side hustle, I started buying and selling branded items from international destinations and selling them to my friends at cheaper prices. I used my social media knowledge to send cold messages and market my items through Facebook ads and posting. I also did influencer marketing to reach a wider audience for the products that I am selling. When Covid or the pandemic hit us, it affected our careers because a lot of flights were cancelled, so I had no choice but to stay at home, but fortunately, it was a blessing in disguise for me because I was able to sell items online without going out. I had a part-time job as a real estate agent where I sold out a number of units in a span of 1 week. I also sold out vitamins, face masks, and supplements because at that time it was really essential, and the demand for these essentials was extremely high because of the risk of getting sick or being infected by the virus. I also sell beauty devices or RF devices for the face and sold 250 devices in just a span of 1 month and earned a profit that doubled the price of my capital. All these experiences made me confident in pursuing my passion for marketing and selling. As a work experience, last year, I was a social media manager, where I managed social media presence, including influencer marketing and cold messaging. Executive assistant—where I served as a direct assistant to a US-based author who offers certification programmes to colleges and universities in the USA. Account Manager—where I track and record successful outbound sales.
I pride myself on an assertive and proactive approach. I love talking and interacting with customers and offering goods and services. This mindset is a key for me to maintain my efficiency while delivering customer satisfaction.
