Sheila San Pedro – Administrative Assistant

sheila-san-pedro-vaMy name is Sheila Mallari-San Pedro, currently residing here at the heart of Manila, Philippines. I am a single mom, living with my 83 years old mother and I have 3 children, my eldest is a registered nurse working in one of the recognised hospitals in Canberra, Australia. My second child works in a casino hotel in a nearby city from our place and my youngest is still in college, taking a Dentistry course. At present, I managed my own food catering business, catering pack lunch in various offices across the city near our place, and at the same time doing a part-time job, freelancing for data encoding and bookkeeping. I decided to apply for a Work from Home set up as an Executive Virtual Assistant

I have been employed on an actual office set-up both here in my home country for 12 years as Executive Assistant and Office Manager in Hotels, Construction Companies, and other private offices. I have also worked abroad for five years under the British Embassy Contract in Rebuild Baghdad, Iraq as Document Comptroller and Procurement Head. Likewise, I also became the Office Manager, Procurement, and Camp Manager for Rebuild Iraq, under the American Embassy Contract.

When I returned to the Philippines, I was recently employed as Administrative Head and Project Coordinator but unfortunately, the company I worked for has shut down. With the current pandemic crisis, it is hard to look for a job except for those virtual types of job such as being a Multi-Skilled Virtual Assistant, which I applying for.

I am computer literate. I am knowledgeable on various computer applications like Microsoft Office, Google Sheet, Google workspace, Google Calendar, Asana, Zoho Bigin, Zoho Form, Zoho CRM, Loom, HubSpot, and for teleconferencing, I use Zoom, Skype, and FB Messenger. I have good communication skills. I also have excellent typing skills based on my previous jobs which I did well at. I have highly efficient organization skills and I can handle several different projects for several different clients all at the same time, with the guarantee that everything goes smoothly. I practice time management and I can multi-task.
