Vicentina Casia – Customer Service, Social Media Management
Hi! I am Vicentina D. Casia, a supermom, dreamer, and family hero. I embarked on a journey to become an English teacher, studying at Colegio de San Antonio de Padua, but financial challenges cut my training short. I was sad but I decided to support my siblings’ education instead. With this, I proved that nothing can dim my spirit as I continue to be a source of strength and inspiration for my loved ones.
From humble beginnings, I dared to dream big. With whispers of higher earnings in the call center world, I set my sights on becoming a call center agent. At just 18, I jumped into the unknown, entering the busy city with nothing but determination.
My journey started with outbound calls, booking flights, hotel reservations, and car rentals, while handling billing, emails, and technical issues. I kept trying despite numerous rejections. My determination only grew stronger with each setback. With every challenge, I grew stronger and more resilient.
When I worked at a call center, I barely had time for my family, especially my kids. After an 8-hour shift, I spent over 2 hours stuck in traffic because my home was far from the city. I decided to look for a job that would be closer to home, and that’s when I found a job at Cebu Safari and Adventure Park as a sales and marketing executive. Even though I didn’t work there for long because of my pregnancy issues, I was really happy during that time. Then the pandemic happened, and I lost my job. Now, I’m just a housewife with no income, relying on my husband for money. While I love being able to stay at home with my kids, not having my own income makes me feel bad because I can’t help my husband financially. During the pandemic, I realized that it’s nice to be able to stay home and watch my kids grow, but it’s also important to have a job. Having a job means that when tough times come, like during a lockdown, we have money to buy food for our family.
As a dedicated mom, I looked for a job that could help me take care of me and my kids. Then, I discovered the world of virtual assisting! It’s been a wild ride, but I love working from home. And I’m not stopping here. I’m determined to grow, learn, and help every client I meet. Now, I’m hungry for more opportunities to succeed!
