Xariez Narciso – Appointment Setter

xariez-narcisco-formalI’m Xariez and you can call me Shar. I am the eldest in the family and I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in English at Western Mindanao State University in 2019.

Multiple times, I’ve come across this saying floating around online: “There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.”

For most of us, things don’t just happen overnight. With as many blessings as you might possess, you still have to put in the hard work to make progress. This might not be an easy path to follow. More likely than not, you may not be able to take shortcuts, and may not be able to skip steps.

During my college days, I happened to be a working student. I was studying in the morning and working after my class and on weekends as a Brand Ambassadress in one of the Telecommunication Company here in the Philippines. I worked to sustain my needs in school because in my last year as a high school student, our house was burned down and we weren’t able to save anything, only ourselves. I can say that our life back then was really tough. When I reached college, I decided to take on a part-time job to help myself in my studies and the needs of my family.

When I graduated, I flew to Makati all alone to look for a job and tried to apply in BPO companies. At first, I was hesitant because I really didn’t know how to xariez-narcisco-pageantstart and where to go first since it was my first time travelling alone. But luckily, I was hired. I spent 6 months working as a Sales Representative, as I have a great passion for selling products and communicating with people because I know that communication is important in order to have a deeper understanding. After 6 months, I decided to go back to my province.

After 2 months, I applied in one of the Outsourcing Companies that we have here in our province and I was hired as a Sales Executive for our client that is based in San Francisco where my task is to do cold calling to set appointments and reach out to prospective clients via Linkedin. After 3 months, I was promoted as Interim Business Manager where I perform various administrative tasks, including answering emails and scheduling meetings where I was able to improve my sales skills, multitask and also communicate more effectively.

With my combined skills, knowledge and my eagerness to learn new things, I can perform tasks well with less supervision and my previous experiences equipped me to become an efficient and dedicated employee.

I am looking forward to being part of your growing company and becoming the best Virtual Assistant that I can be. Thank you for reading my story!
