Agnes B. Pajarillo – Virtual Assistant, Recruitment Specialist

Hi there! I am Agnes B. Pajarillo, you can call me AB.  I am a mom to three amazing kids, and I balance the joy of being a parent with my love of the Virtual world. My interests and background are as varied as they are. I graduated from the Asian College of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I also have a TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – Philippines) National Certification in Trainers Methodology I, allowing me to not only excel in technical tasks but also empower others through training.

I thrived in the traditional education sector, shaping young minds, which held a special place in my heart for years. Having served as a public school teacher for 7 years, a college instructor for 8 years, 5 years as an administrative clerk, and 2 years as a corporate secretary. As a former Teacher and an Instructor, I developed and implemented innovative teaching strategies to promote student learning. I was able to improve my communication skills and my capacity to adjust to different learning styles, which is an essential skill for a virtual assistant to have, to offer clear and efficient help. As for my administrative background as an administrative clerk and secretary it instilled in me a strong attention to detail, organizational prowess, and the ability to multitask effectively by performing clerical tasks, managing correspondence, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

However, my desire for a better work-life balance, coupled with my ever-growing tech skills, led me to explore the exciting world of virtual assistants. I found the ideal balance between achieving my career goals and enjoying my personal life here. My first venture into the VA world was with an Australian migration and educational consultancy, where I wore many hats as a student recruitment specialist and general virtual assistant, from recruitment, and client engagement to administrative tasks. My ability to use technology well came in helpful as I managed their social media outreach, made engaging videos and visuals to draw in prospective students, maintained their inboxes and calendars, and developed trusting relationships with them. And learning to get along with different nationalities improved my cultural competency. This not only helped me better understand the needs of international clients but also honed my communication skills to bridge cultural gaps. Regardless of background, I can now effortlessly modify my approach to guarantee effective and transparent communication.

My dedication to quality does not end there. By taking VA classes, I can continuously hone my expertise. This is about actively improving my skill set and cultivating adaptability, By continuously learning, I ensure to offer the most up-to-date and effective support. I am a lifelong learner, eager to grow alongside the team and become an invaluable asset in achieving goals.
