Christine Mae Lim – Executive Virtual Assistant, Social Media

Hi, I am Christine Mae Lim. You can call me Christine. I am a mother of three children and a fur mom to half a dozen fur babies. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree. I am also a licensed Medical Technologist. Not being the type to stop, I then pursued my Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Ateneo De Manila University and worked as an insurance agent for 11 years.

I was a consistent sales awardee with a 3x Million Dollar Round Table (international award for insurance agents) award to my name. I was happily working in sales until life threw me a curve ball when the pandemic came. I was having a hard time presenting insurance because of Covid-19 and my clients were having a hard time paying their premiums. Because we were primarily dependent on commission, I was forced to learn and discover new talents I didn’t know I had!

I started learning to be a virtual assistant and I tried different niches like content writing, social media management, lead generation, executive assistance, graphic designing, and video editing. Working with different clients helped me hone the skills and the tasks that I love and I realized my favorite part of being a virtual assistant is working in the marketing department. I love creating graphic designs using Canva and growing social media pages through different strategies. I also get lost in my world while I am writing content for my clients and it gives me a rush seeing my articles rank on search engines with the use of different tools to optimise them!

I also love video editing and seeing my videos come to life after doing the necessary edits! I am currently learning about Facebook ads and I am constantly on the lookout for new things to learn and to discover that might help me and my clients.

I love working from home because it saves me time. With traffic becoming increasingly bad, going to my own office to start working with clients all over the world makes me feel like I am in the right place! I have never been as happy and at home (literally!) as I am now and I plan to be a virtual assistant for as long as my clients need me!
