Jan Michael Catipon – Customer Support Manager

Hey there! I’m Jan Michael Catipon, but everyone just calls me JM. My journey has been quite an adventure, filled with different experiences that have shaped who I am today, both personally and professionally. One of the biggest milestones in my life happened on July 29, 2024, when I got married. That day marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter—one that has taught me a lot about balance, responsibility, and embracing change. Marriage isn’t just about commitment; it’s about growth, learning from each other, and supporting one another through life’s ups and downs.

When it comes to education, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Commerce – Management and later pursued a Master’s in Business Administration, though I didn’t get to finish it. Even though I didn’t complete my MBA, the journey itself gave me valuable insights into business, finance, and strategic thinking—skills that I’ve applied throughout my career.

Speaking of my career, I’ve taken a bit of a non-traditional path. I’ve worked in various industries, including food, marketing, manufacturing, and the BPO sector. Each role came with its own unique challenges, but I’ve always been the type of person who enjoys learning new things. Every job I took helped me develop different skills, from customer service and operations to leadership and problem-solving. I’ve always been adaptable, quick on my feet, and open to taking on new responsibilities. No matter what role I had, I made sure to give it my best and continuously look for ways to improve.

Eventually, I made the big decision to leave the corporate world and transition to working from home. It wasn’t easy—there were plenty of risks and uncertainties—but in the end, the benefits far outweighed the challenges. Working remotely has allowed me to manage my time better, focus on personal growth, and still challenge myself professionally. It has opened up new opportunities that I wouldn’t have explored otherwise, and I’m grateful for the experience.

Looking back, I can see how every step of my journey has shaped who I am today. I’ve learned to embrace change, stay flexible, and always look for ways to grow. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I look forward to new opportunities where I can learn, contribute, and take on fresh challenges. Wherever life takes me next, I know I’ll be ready for it.
