Jeid Doromal – Social Media Management

jeid-doromal-va“The hardest choices require the strongest wills,” Thanos, Avengers, Marvel Universe.

This is one of the most famous and coolest lines I’ve ever heard in Hollywood films especially in the Avengers movie series.

I consider myself a risk taker that’s why I can totally relate to the quote and I just can’t get it out of my head. By the way, we will not talk about whether or not Tony stark will be resurrected in the upcoming sequel but how this simple one liner quote from a villain affected my life perspective…

Hello! My name is Jeid Doromal. “Jade” is fine but you can also call me “JD” to make your life a whole lot easier. Today’s parents should get an A+ for making others people life miserable trying to guess how their kid’s name is properly pronounced, (just kidding). I was born and raised in the Philippines from August 1998, so I’m 22 years old. I have two siblings – all male and I am the middle child.

The Technological University of the Philippines is the cheapest when it comes to tuition, and because my parents were financially struggling, I went all in. I passed the test, and I took what course was available and I spent 113,880 hours of my life for a paper and a handshake (just kidding). Honestly, my dream and ideal college degree would be Bachelor of Science in Computer Science because I love doing geeky stuff with computers, like website development (designing and programming), photo and video editing, online gaming, online sales and marketing, etc. Unfortunately, this course is only available at some expensive schools locally.

jeid-doromal-vaFar from home, at age of 19, I worked as a factory worker in Toyota Motors Philippines. It was a hardcore traditional backbreaking job, and I was only earning $58.15 per month (all food, transportation, and rent inclusive). I worked there for approximately 7 months. This was part of my on-job training requirements.

Maybe the salary sounds ridiculous but the life lessons I learned and discipline I developed (time management, following standard operating procedures and respecting colleagues) is irreplaceable.

I am always fascinated to imitate successful minds of today like Simon Sinek, Peng Joon and Robert Kiyosaki. I always watch their videos either on Facebook or YouTube. It cultivates my wisdom.

I worked in an international BPO telco company as a customer service representative for almost 1 year. This was my entry-level job. My main objective was to conquer my fear and level-up my confidence when speaking in English.

Seeking a different skillset and opportunity, I invested my remaining funds to buy a gaming desktop so it would always be above system minimum requirements when applying for an online job. I also enrolled myself in an online freelancing masterclass so I’ll be confident when fulfilling my deliverables to a client assuming I get hired.

Now, I can build professional websites using WordPress via elementor builder. I can refine impurities in your photos using Adobe PhotoShop or create full automation across your business through MailChimp or ManyChat integration and so much more.

I’m very excited to hear more about any of these opportunities and to share why my last employer called me indispensable.
