Jephthah Jehosaphat Landicho – Software Developer

Hi, I’m Jephthah Jehosaphat Landicho, but you can call me Jeph. I graduated in August 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, majoring in Business Analytics, from Batangas State University. I completed my internship at Jacinto and Lirio as a Website Admin Intern, where I led my co-interns, assigned tasks, and managed the company’s Shopify website. My responsibilities included organising products, keeping the inventory updated, and implementing custom functionalities through coding. Since my internship was remote, I set my sights on finding a remote job after graduation.

After finishing my internship, I open my opportunity into freelancing and virtual assistance, actively searching for clients on platforms like onlinejobs.ph, LinkedIn, and virtualstaff.ph. My first client found me through virtualstaff.ph and reached out via LinkedIn, saying my profile was a perfect fit for his project. Although I was new to using Python for web development, he gave me the opportunity to learn while working. As I familiarised myself with Django, I built the website and expanded my skill set, including AI implementation, API integration, and remote desktop access for Windows. This experience exposed me to working in a fast-paced environment, which I genuinely enjoyed.

As of now, I am an instructor at a bootcamp which I teach how to use Python for Data analytics and front-end development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I enjoy teaching students who are fresh graduates, career shifters, and some of them are already professionals. Even though my work here is to teach students, I also need to learn how effectively teach the module of our course and also how to improve my communication skills. As of now, I manage to learn it and day by day I start to see my improvements in communicating with others. I’m starting to adapt my work environment here but sometimes I feel like I can do more, that’s why I am exploring other job that can help me improve my skill set. I want to hone my technical skills more and hopefully improve them.

I want to go back to freelancing because even though I’ve only been freelancing for seven months, I realised that this is something I want to do every day. I’m eager to keep learning, growing, and taking on new challenges. I hope to gain the trust of more clients and use my skills to help businesses succeed. I believe I have a lot to offer, and I look forward to continuing this journey throughout my career.
