Marites Sevillano – Social Media Management

Hi, I am Marites Sevillano, just call me Tess. I am a solo parent since 2010 with my 2 grown up lovely boys and I thank God that I survived them with my strong personality and motivation in life. I am a Food Technologist by Profession. I started off my career in 2010 working as an Account Development Specialist – Sales Food Service Division where I have develop myself in Sales and reached more than a quota and awarded as a Sales Woman each of the month.

In 2011, I resigned from that company and decided to continue my career working overseas as an Administrative Assistant in Music School, dealing with the accounts of the centre’s assets, cashflow, students records, teachers and students timetables, termly students exams, arranging and organising events and concerts and other external parties. I developed good working relationship with clients, parents and students that I came to contact with and demonstrated a broad range and depth of knowledge and experience administrating a business enterprise. I’ve also worked as an Operations Manager and a Principal Assistant, also in overseas. Due to the pandemic, the company that I worked for got affected and I decided to go back where I belong.

In 2021, while running my Grocer business, I came along an opportunity for me to be part of the scholar as a Social Media Marketing course provided by one the prestigious training center and got to improve and honed my skills. Surprisingly, it didn’t take long for me to adapt the new environment being a fresher in honing my skills remotely. I develop my skills in Social Media Management, project management, automation, scheduling, graphic design, video editing, Website creation and many more.

I couldn’t get a client at the time I graduated from that training due to many personal reasons. But, it did not stop me to still pursue this career, and continue joining webinars, training and watching videos from different platform and apply it so I could see the result. Additional skills that I have gained were Email Management, Email automation, Funnel Building, and more.

Pursuing this career is really different from being in an office, but I know that this environment and career that I am taking right now is best for me and to my great sons for their future. Aside from being a solo parent and solo provider to my mother as well. I only wanted them the best and I believe that working from home is the best choice that I’ve ever made because I can spend time with them at the same time, quality time as it’s best!

At this time I am super ready to thrive and I’ll show you what skills I got and I aim to grow further my career, develop and learn more skills and apply it to my future clients.
