Michelle Busto Pelonia – Customer Relations Specialist

michelle-busto-pelonia-profileHi! I am Michelle Pelonia – those who are closest would call me Meech for short. I am 38 years old and I live in Tandang Sora, Quezon City. I am married with two kids, a 19-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter. I have been working for more than 10 whopping years already. I did not finish my studies because I became pregnant at a very young age.

I have experienced working in different fields including Marketing, Management, Customer Service, Cashier, Sales, Operations, and as an Executive Assistant.

I worked abroad for two years in a hospital where I handled the Insurance Policy Department under the Operations and Marketing Department.

In 2014, I joined the BPO Industry. I worked with different accounts such as Telco, Broadband, Landline, Mobile Phone, Cable Service, Video Streaming and the most recent was a Healthcare Account.

I also worked as an Online English Teacher where I taught Basic English, IELTS and TOEFL to Chinese students. michelle-busto-pelonia-drivingAfter that, I worked as a Virtual Assistant for almost a year. I was in-charge of answering queries through Calls, Emails and Chats all at the same time.

I went back to an office based job to fulfill my dream of becoming a training coach or team leader, but I eventually went back to being a VA. I decided to quit the corporate world because my son was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure last year and he undergoes treatment and dialysis three times a week. I believe that as a mother, more than earning money to support the financial needs of the family, I knew I needed to be there to take care of my children, especially my son.

4. Hardworking and Reliable – Dedicated to my responsibilities, I work late at night and on weekends to see a project through. This aspect has also taught me to be resourceful and creative in dealing with problems regarding my work.
